Sydney Tools Silverwater

We made our way to the Silverwater branch early in the morning and were greeted by Maroun. After explaining our brand new generator from the Brookvale store had some starting issues, Maroun tried to get it started and Patrick took over outside. After a few troubleshooting attempts by Patrick, he figured out the issue and the generator sprang to life! It was one of those "end user error" moments but thank you Maroun and Patrick for being extremely patient and kind enough to help.

Best store man @MAROUN i have ever find in silverwater@sydneytools . As a freshman as mechanic needs plethora of tools and gear so i bought gearwrench tools box including tools in it but when i got it , there was 4 sets of items missing so i contacted storeman @PATRICK since then he always extended a days to days saying couldn’t connect with gearwrench company and couldn’t get approval and he made me waited for 4 months and he left company now couldn’t contact him anymore and visited store for more than 3 times but noone seems to help me always get away saying he doesn’t work here anymore and no manager here today and mail to sydneytools@silverwater but no mail back .i lost hope to get missing tools and I thought no more tools shopping at Sydney tools anymore but today on 23rd sep Saturday i met maroun and he helped me which i didn’t have hope any more . He invested an hour to find out what was happening and called people more than 10 which I really appreciated and finally figured out and i am happy and interested to shop more . Highly recommended MAROUN if anyone needs help regarding any tools and transactions

Unbelievable low level of knowledge when it comes to the items they sell. I asked for a laser range finder and I mentioned that I had one from Bosch before. Sales person didn't know what I was talking about, even with several different models right behind him on the shelve. He showed me a model from DeWalt. Bought it, only to find out on the parking lot, that I would need to buy an additional laser. It was just a laser detector. Went back in for a a return. Bosch models were also available. Exchange impossible, had to wait several days for a refund to my bank account. Guy was lying like a weasel during the return process when another colleague helped him. Never again in this branch and possibly never again Sydney Tools.

Very helpful bunch taking time to find the part that i wanted. The team member (Corey) said they were showing one left and then went to find it for me but couldn’t find it. He then checked their system for stock at other stores aswell. He was adamant that there was one left and decided to recheck the shelves for me and ended up finding it and saved me a trip to another store. Top customer service!!

Shocking experience over my order case! Went to their store and placed the order with all upfront payment being deducted from my account. Waited patiently for 8 working days, their store guy called me and advised the ordered items are ready to get pick up. When I showed up in their store, I have been advised again by the same person that there is a missing item from the list. ( However it was funny that the same item is on the shelf, but the store person just Simply told me the very same item isn't for me at this time. I have also been advised the waiting for last item might take another 2 to 4 weeks ( according to him, such waiting time seems rather reasonable). Seriously why would a store sell the unavailable items and just keep customer in such waiting game! Why would tradesman come to a specialised tool shop and buys expensive tools cope for wait for a long time!? This particular store is getting worse everytime!!! Go to another Sydney tool store or simply Goto Bunnings !
